In 2018, VPC began in Tonga as a boutique consulting practice- VPC Vox Populi Consultancy.

The work was analytical and deliberate, focused on systems, structure, and decision-making. From the outset, the aim was not speed or scale, but coherence: understanding how people, organisations, and environments move- and how they should.

As that work deepened, adjacent needs emerged.

In 2020, the same systems thinking took a physical form.

VPC Very Popular Cars was created to meet a practical, everyday need: mobility that works. Reliable, accessible, and grounded in real conditions. Cars, roads, timing, responsibility- movement made tangible on our island.

In 2022, CyberShield VPC was established as a specialist service operating alongside the consultancy. CyberShield VPC provides discreet, tailored cybersecurity support for small and medium-sized businesses that value continuity, trust, and practical protection over generic solutions. Our clients span the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, and the United States. The focus is not volume, but resilience- safeguarding digital operations quietly and properly.

It grows out of consulting, but it is not advisory.

AIRIUM exists in the corridor- between islands and borders, between physical movement and digital access, between immediacy and trust. It reflects the reality of life in the Pacific, where connection matters as much as distance.

From the beginning, our work in Tonga has carried responsibility beyond business operations. This has meant meeting our obligations properly- contributing through taxes, supporting local broadcasting, and standing behind community initiatives in sport, youth development, culture, and tradition.

These are not separate from our work. They are part of how we believe systems should function: accountable, reciprocal, and embedded in the communities they serve.

In Tonga we say: “ʻOku ʻikai ke ngalo ʻa e fonua naʻe fakakakato ai ʻa e tangata.” One does not forget the land that shaped and completed them.

That understanding connects everything we build.

These are not separate ventures.

They are stages of one evolution.

Understanding came first.

Movement followed.

Connection sits in between.

Years on, we continue to build carefully and deliberately- with respect for systems, for people, and for place. Tonga is not only where our work began; Tonga remains the context that shapes how and why we build.
