Our story began in Tonga in 2019 with Vox Populi Consultancy.

The work was analytical and deliberate, focused on systems, structure and decision-making. From the outset, we were interested in practical problems: how businesses operate, where systems fail, and how technology can make them work better.

In 2020, that thinking moved into real-world operations with VPC Very Popular Cars.

Running a customer-facing business brought us directly into payments, communications, bookings, digital infrastructure and the everyday systems required to keep a company operating reliably.

Over time, we stopped simply using technology and began building more of it ourselves.

In 2026, these activities were consolidated under Apraxys Group Limited.

Apraxys brought our operating businesses, digital infrastructure and technology development under one structure — creating the foundation from which products including AIRIUM could grow.

AIRIUM is our eSIM business.

It was created around a straightforward problem: people travelling internationally need reliable mobile data without the inconvenience, uncertainty and cost of traditional roaming.

AIRIUM provides digital eSIM connectivity across international destinations, allowing compatible devices to connect without replacing a physical SIM card.

It is a global service built from Tonga.

That distinction matters to us.

Tonga may be geographically remote, but digital products do not have to be. A company built in the Pacific can develop, operate and serve customers across borders just as naturally as one established in London, Sydney, Singapore or New York.

AIRIUM is part of that wider Apraxys philosophy: identify a practical problem, build the system around it, and make it accessible wherever the customer happens to be.

From the beginning, our work in Tonga has also carried responsibilities beyond business operations. This has meant meeting our obligations properly, contributing through taxation, supporting local broadcasting, and standing behind community initiatives in sport, youth development, culture and tradition.

These are not separate from our work.

They are part of how we believe businesses should operate: accountable, reciprocal and connected to the communities from which they grow.

In Tonga we say:

“ʻOku ʻikai ke ngalo ʻa e fonua naʻe fakakakato ai ʻa e tangata.”

One does not forget the land that shaped and completed them.

That understanding remains part of Apraxys and part of AIRIUM.
